Something is Deeply Wrong with Trump
He’s covered in inexplicable marks and bruises, he falls asleep any time he’s in front of the camera, and gets carted off to the hospital with no public explanation. People want answers.
Something is deeply wrong with Donald Trump.
Sure, Trump has been crazy for years. But over the last few months, it’s begun to feel like he’s not just mentally incompetent, but becoming increasingly unwell physically, too.
In early 2025, just weeks after taking office at 78 years old, visible bruising (covered by orange foundation that somehow matches even less than his fake tan) began appearing on Trump’s right hand. The White House press office claimed it was from all the hand-shaking he’d been doing as of late. An entire year later, the bruising has not only failed to go away, but has spread to both hands and grown in size.
In September 2025, Trump was captured on video with a very visible facial droop while attending a public event. This led to many rumors of Trump having suffered some sort of stroke, in which partial facial paralysis is common. If you ask the White House, this is just more fake news.
In December 2025, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, resulting in his ankles (already large to hold up a supposedly 224 pound frame) becoming grossly swollen to the point of Trump needing to wear comically large leather shoes. He then gifted matching shoes to cabinet members who were too scared not to wear them, leading to some very clownish moments — pun intended.
A year after his hand bruising first appeared, reporters captured what looks to be a pretty gnarly rash on Trump’s neck extending below his collar. The White House refused to comment on the severity of the rash or its cause, other than to say it was being treated with a preventative cream.
To top it all off, Trump visited Walter Reed National Hospital for a third time in 13 months for yet another annual physical. Doesn’t annual mean… once per year?
The White House complex is equipped with an in-house medical facility that typically administers routine service. That’s why we never saw presidents Bush, Obama, Biden, or really any previous president make such frequent visits to Walter Reed. Whatever the issue, it seems to be more serious than conventional treatments can remedy, and it feels like the White House just might be hiding something from the public. But not to worry, the White House social media team has very clearly been instructed to put out celebratory graphics on Trump’s health status, in a move that is totally normal and has no one asking any further questions.
Oh, and all of this is ignoring Trump’s increasing reliance on Oval Office naps, where he frequently takes long “blinks” (if you were to ask the White House’s press team) during public events with cabinet secretaries and other officials standing behind him at the Resolute desk. At these events, mind you, Trump is the only one who remains seated the entire time.
During his 2020 and 2024 campaigns, Trump lambasted Joe Biden as “Sleepy Joe,” promising that we’d never, not once, see him slacking on the job or in anything other than tip-top shape. Now is probably a good time to remind folks that Trump’s diet consists of Big Macs, large fries, and copious amounts of Diet Coke. He hasn’t exactly treated his body like a temple.
We wish the president – any president – nothing but the best of health. Our Commander-in-Chief needs to be of robust and able physical and mental health. Our concern is that the White House’s refusal to provide any material details on the status of the current occupant’s health leaves continued questions that need to be addressed.
The White House’s secrecy surrounding Trump’s health marks a stark departure from the past, when they were eager to defend Trump’s mental health, constantly referring to “rigorous” cognitive tests and displays of mental acuity. Remember man, camera, woman, tv, anyone? Trump keeps desperately trying to highlight his acuity more frequently, but somehow, saying that identifying a horse, a tiger, and a bear is hard is not comforting.
Trump has refused to be transparent with the American people. We deserve to know if something is wrong, and the president might even gain a few sympathy points in his abysmal approval ratings as a result. Maybe he could even use a health update to distract from his disastrous Iran war, which he used to distract from the Epstein files, which he used to distract from his fiscally idiotic tariffs. (I think we’ve seen this film before…)
All we’re doing is asking questions and seeking answers. If there’s nothing wrong, why can’t they prove it?
The silence is deafening.

Something has ALWAYS been wrong .
He’s sundowning with multiple mini strokes.
